Cycling Around Pokhara's Lakes and Scenic Trails
A Full-Day Bike Tour to Phewa, Begnas and Rupa Lakes
Cycling Around Pokhara's Lakes and Scenic Trails
Spend a full and rewarding day in the saddle on this scenic cycling tour to the three lakes of the Pokhara valley. Starting from Lakeside in the early morning, you ride the shoreline of iconic Phewa Lake as the Annapurna mountains and Machhapuchhre mirror on the water, then pedal out through quiet farming country toward the calm, crystal-blue Begnas Lake. After a traditional Nepali lunch by the water, the trail continues to the hidden Rupa Lake, the smallest and most peaceful of the three, where terraced fields, grazing livestock, and friendly village life replace the tourist crowds. Rolling country roads, gentle climbs, and sweeping Himalayan views make this a genuine adventure for riders who love nature and movement. With a professional cycling guide, a quality mountain bike, lunch, and a support vehicle on hand, this full-day circuit blends fresh air, rural Nepal, and unforgettable lake-and-mountain scenery into one of the best active days out around Pokhara.
