Common Questions
Yes, this tour is moderately challenging. The 4WD does most of the hard work. The only significant trek is the Poonhill sunrise hike, which is manageable for most fitness levels.
October to November offers the clearest skies and best views. March to April is also excellent with blooming rhododendrons.
Muktinath (3,800m) and Poonhill (3,210m) are at moderate altitude. We include acclimatization time and our guides carry basic altitude medication.
Tourist-standard hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and clean guesthouses/lodges in the Mustang region and Ghorepani.
