Drive from Pokhara to Kimche or Nayapul (1.5–2 hours). Begin a scenic 2–3 hour trek through terraced fields and forest to Ghandruk village (2,012m). Meet your Gurung host family and settle into the homestay. Afternoon village walk to explore stone-paved streets, the heritage museum, and ancient Buddhist monastery. Evening cultural performance with Gurung dances.

Wake early to golden light on Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South. Join your host family for morning tea and learn to prepare traditional Gurung breakfast — dhido (buckwheat porridge) with gundruk (fermented greens).
